Terms of Use

These terms govern POVs, operated by Alteus Labs LLC in California, United States. By using POVs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact: support-povsgg@alteuslabs.io.

Using POVs

POVs helps you arrange and watch Twitch streams and optionally save room libraries. You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age required by Twitch or applicable law, and have a parent or guardian's permission if you cannot legally agree to these terms yourself. You are responsible for access to your account and for the room names and links you choose to share.

Twitch and other providers

POVs is independent and is not sponsored or endorsed by Twitch. Twitch controls streams, chat, advertising, subscriptions, clips, viewing statistics and Drops. We do not guarantee playback, viewer credit, Drops eligibility, ad-free viewing, or synchronization. Twitch's Terms of Service also apply when you use its services. Signing into POVs authenticates your POVs account, not each embedded player.

Acceptable use and ownership

Do not use POVs unlawfully, harass others, infringe rights, bypass provider restrictions or advertising controls, manipulate engagement metrics, probe accounts without permission, disrupt the service, or redistribute streams without the necessary rights. Streamers and other rights holders retain their content rights. You do not acquire ownership of content through POVs. Alteus Labs LLC and its licensors retain rights in the POVs software and branding, subject to applicable open-source licenses.

Saved rooms and privacy

Accounts are optional. A shared room URL can be opened by anyone with the link and is not an access-controlled private room. Account libraries are associated with your account. See our Privacy Policy for data handling and deletion. Keep copies of anything important; we cannot guarantee saved data will never be lost.

Availability and account closure

We may change or discontinue features, and may restrict access for misuse, security, legal requirements, or material breaches of these terms. Where reasonable and lawful, we will explain a restriction and let you contact us about it. You may stop using POVs at any time and delete your account through Account settings.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, POVs is provided as available, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for third-party content or service decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

Changes and questions

We will publish revised terms here and give notice of material changes where appropriate. California law governs these terms to the extent it does not override mandatory protections in your location.
